About the Music

With over 50 years as a performing songwriter, I still perform many of these songs live. However, as a storyteller, I believe some songs deserve voices beyond my own to honor their message authentically.

Songs like "My Life Is Amiss" and "Half Not Whole" address the pain of abusive relationships from a woman's perspective - stories that need a woman's voice to convey their truth. Similarly, my love for R&B and Motown-inspired music is best served by voices that can truly honor those genres.

Using modern AI vocal technology allows me to expand my storytelling range while maintaining complete creative control over every lyric, melody, and arrangement. The songs, the stories, and the soul are mine - the voices are chosen to serve the song.
